Position Summary

Program Summary:

The Women's Rise is a residential work release program providing case management, job readiness, and substance and mental health education to adult females who are under the supervision of DOC. We help women rise as they reenter their communities.

Position Summary:

The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care. This includes activities of daily living and providing support for safety, health, and wellness. This position also assists program staff. The ideal candidate will establish, develop, and maintain respectful relationships with the people served. The Residential Aide will participate in maintaining a safe, harm-free environment for all residents.

Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.

The House Manager will oversee the daily operations of one of our residential facilities, supporting 3 residents, in East Haven. Position will oversee 4-6 staff to ensure the individuals we support meet all medical, behavioral, and social outcomes in their daily lives.

2-3 years of experience managing in this type of setting required. DDS experience preferred, but not required.

The Group Home Manager Must:

  • Model a person centered philosophy and provide leadership to Direct Support Professionals and Assistant Managers.
  • Have a working knowledge of applicable state and federal systems effecting the individuals we support (DDS, DSS, Social Security, HUD, etc.)
  • Demonstrate team leadership and participate in the LON Assessment, IP Development, support strategies, and Outcome Development.

Training and Certifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but comparable field experience is taken into consideration.
