The successful candidate will have hands on injection mold making experience. Responsibilities will include knowledge of trouble shooting, analyzing specifications, set-up and operate machine tools, and fit and assemble parts to make and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gages and machinists hand tools. Repair and maintain molds, as well as communicate all tooling issues with Plant Manager and Engineering. Partner with the Production Manager to coordinate the repair of all tool issues, timing concerns and status, as well as tool follow-up relative to tool performance. Provide updated information on repair schedules to eliminate any quality or production issues and provide design support. Must have the ability to be self guided and work with minimal supervision. This person must be able analyze molds and determine a course of action for efficient assembly, repair and revision of injection molds. In addition this person must be familiar with mold manufacturing processes of CNC, EDM, Polish and etc. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent trade school certification with a minimum of 3 years on-the-job experience working with injection molds.
