Completes wire harness by placing and tying wires, and protecting cable.​

Duties:
* Prepares work to be accomplished by studying work orders, specifications, instructions, diagrams, and wire lists; gathering tools and materials.​

* Assembles harness by selecting and cutting wires; looping wires between guide pegs following color-coded lines or sequential numbers; wrapping and tieing wires.​

* Secures knots and protects cable by applying sealing liquid.​

* Attaches cable to components or plugs by soldering or crimping wires and connectors.​

* Verifies continuity by testing cable.​

* Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.​

* Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.​

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.​

* Maintains wire inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.​

* Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.​

* Documents harness by marking identifying data; completing forms.​

2.​) Stockroom Helper
Accepts shipments and ships product by unloading, loading, and verifying shipments.​

Duties:
* Receives items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers.​

* Verifies items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/​measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies.​

* Documents items received by recording identifying information.​

* Transfers orders received by routing or delivering items to requesting department.​

* Replaces damaged items and shortages or obtains credit by informing shipper and transporter of damage or shortage; returning damaged items; requesting new items or credit for shortages.​

* Receives credit-return materials from production by verifying identifying information and quantity of materials; placing materials in inventory.​

* Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers.​

* Determines method of shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment.​

* Ships items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting items.​

* Documents items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information.​

* Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed materials; placing and expediting orders for materials; verifying receipt of materials.​

·     The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), otherwise known as “Obamacare,” enacted in March 2010, introduced a series of reforms to expand health insurance coverage by:

*  Expanding Medicaid eligibility and

*  Establishing health insurance exchanges or market places.

·      In CT, the insurance marketplace is called “Access Health CT”. The marketplace will offer approved health insurance plans to individuals, families and small business. Eligible consumers may qualify for discounts in the form of tax credits.

·        Enrollment Period: Those who enroll in the first enrollment period, Oct. 2013-Mar 2014, will have coverage effective January 2014.
