Warehouse Receiver
Work Environment: Work will primarily be performed in a warehouse environment, though may have minimal contact with the retail floor, as well as coolers and departments with exposed raw foods.
Requirements :
- Ability to lift 50 pounds safely.
- Attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
- Basic math skills.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Ability to handle multiple demands and work under pressure.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing conditions quickly.
- Willingness to be open to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Excellent attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Store Operations
- Maintain an orderly flow of product moving through the warehouse, ensuring accurate an efficient product deliveries.
- Communicate with department representatives regarding inventory and incoming shipments.
- Prepare the receiving dock for incoming orders and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Verify product with purchase orders.
- Track, sort, and distribute shipments as needed.
- Manage the inventory of shipping supplies and materials.
- Safety
- Ensure that department shelves, work areas and storage areas are in clean and orderly condition.
- Be in compliance with safety practices and procedures, both throughout the store and within the department.
- Remain up to date on all certifications required for power equipment.
- Other
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Store Operations Manager.
