Chatham Place is the Assisted Living / Memory Care Community that is part of Mary Wade.

Mary Wade is looking for Dietary Aides to provide food set up, preparation and general cleaning to ensure meals are prepared and served to residents in a timely manner.

Schedule:

Part-Time: Day shift and Evening shift: Monday to Fridays and/or Weekends

• 24 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $14.00 to $17.00

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience preferred; experience in Assisted Living a plus.
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to lift and carry 15lbs
• This is primarily a standing position where an employee may be required to stand in one place for extended periods of time.
• Able to build positive and strong relationships with supervisors, coworkers and residents.
• Focused and dedicated to provide excellent customer service
• Able to handle multiple jobs and priorities
• Must be able to turn, crouch, kneel, stoop, bend below waist, and reach above shoulder height as tasks dictate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with food preparation.
• Cleans dishes, utensils and trays ensuring sanitary condition.
• Obtains food supplies from store rooms.
• Reads and understands therapeutic break-downs, menus, individual diet codes and tray cards.
• Operates kitchen machinery in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Directs resident concerns, questions, and suggestions to Executive Chef.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists customers with basic shopping needs and ensures their needs are met.
• Prepares products to be shipped to other stores and costumers’ homes.
• Uses established safety guidelines while operating store equipment.
• Completes daily replenishment to ensure product is fully stocked on the sales floor.
• Ensures products are properly secured to reduce loss and eliminate hazards to team members and customers.
• Processes online orders and assists customers and other employees with in-store product pickup.
• Prepares merchandise and displays to ensure customers can see what’s possible and purchase products without delay.
• Receives, ships, and records store inventory.
