Inbound Forklift Operator - Milford, CT - Full Time 9am-5:30pm - $19.00/hour

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Material Handler-Inbound role is multi-purpose within a Thule warehouse. Main responsibilities will include unloading trucks, replenishing stock from storage, putting newly received product into the racking, and loading outbound trucks when called. This role will use several tools to accomplish these tasks, including manual pallet jacks and electric forklifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in unloading trucks
  • Replenish forward pick area from back-stock using system directed instructions to a handheld scanner.
  • Put product away into bins from the Receiving dock.
  • Move product or supplies around the warehouse as directed by a manager.
  • Identify and reconcile safety issues within our racking.
  • Load and unload trucks, with or without the use of a forklift.
  • Work as a part of our safety culture.
  • Other tasks as directed by a manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENT:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience driving a stand up Forklift / Reach Truck.
  • Experience working in an RF scanning environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Computer skills and knowledge and ability to use email.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds and stand all day.
  • Preferred Stand Up Forklift experience.
  • Some overtime is required at the discretion of the Operations Manager. Mandatory overtime may be required during peak business periods and as required and approved by Manager.

Front Desk Receptionist-The Well for Women- New Haven

The Well for Women is a massage sanctuary for women, transgenders, and non-binary individuals specializing in prenatal and post-partum care located in the Westville section of New Haven, Connecticut. We are looking for a front desk receptionist to help our team of amazing massage therapists Monday to Friday from 9AM to 3PM.
