management of housing and services for elderly persons and families.

Experience required in maintenance;
- Assist Maintenance Manager with operation and maintenance of heating and cooling systems and other building equipment.
- Assist Maintenance Manager with other maintenance and repair work, which may include basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work, and painting.
- Respond to emergencies such as flooding and sewer back-ups, including clean-up.
- Provide Grounds Maintenance, including lawn mowing, seeding, clipping, pruning, and trimming, raking leaves, and minor planting.
- Provide snow removal, including shoveling, plowing, sanding, and scraping common areas, walks, driveways and parking lots.
- Provide coverage for the Superintendent in his absence,
- Subject to call for emergency situations during the evening, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to read and write English
- Experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Training or experience in some of the following areas: carpentry, light plumbing work, light electrical work, painting, refurbishing and cleaning, heating, and air-conditioning.
- Good communications skills, effective interpersonal skills, and comfortable and respectful familiarity with the elderly
- Excellent attention to detail and good organization skills
- Ability to deal with multiple priorities
