We are a small, family-run startup company looking for reliable Fulfillment Center team members to join our ranks.

Better Rhodes is a small and dynamic startup on the verge of significant growth. Our crew is a friendly and energetic group of experts with a common aim of becoming the country's premier Alcohol-Free Marketplace. We are currently looking for Fulfillment Center team members to join our ranks. Our new facility is located in a climate-controlled business park in Madison, CT, which offers our team members accessible wi-fi, office kitchen space and break area, occasional team lunches, regular-set schedules and full benefits after 30 days of employment. We aim to push team-environment energy.

The Position:

As a Better Rhodes Fulfillment Center Specialist, you will be dependable, responsible and able to commit to regular work hours as we manage our rapid business growth. You must have a positive attitude, the ability to prioritize tasks and be able to perform under pressure. You must be a team player to succeed in this position.

This is a physical job, and team members will be involved in all aspects of the fulfillment center with the primary responsibility being preparing orders/packages for all stages of the fulfillment process: picking, packaging, closing, and shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving orders and invoices
• Prepare orders by processing requests and supplying specialized orders that require special attention and care, as well as pulling materials, wrapping and boxing, scanning and labeling boxes, and arranging items in the delivery area.
• Participating in loading and unloading deliveries
• Locating and obtaining orders from particular areas
• Monitoring the inventory of products
• Maintaining a clean and organized shipping supply area, by breaking down boxes, restocking supplies, and other light maintenance duties.

Skills/Qualification:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or similar industry is helpful, but not necessary. We provide training.
• Ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs and ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
• Occasional overtime may be required, advance notices are given.
• Great communication skills.
• Excellent “can-do” attitude, strong work ethics and excellent team spirit.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new and changing packaging procedures and options.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
