Ideal Qualifications:

• Prior experience in high-end hospitality services OR previous barista experience
• Committed to welcoming people into the space as if it were one’s own home
• Ability to host and interact with a diverse customer base
• High integrity with a great attendance record
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Attention to details

Responsibilities:

*Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, along with pastries. *Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs. *Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions. *Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, cortado, latte, and cappuccino. *Generates revenue by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products. *Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking and maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies, retail, paper goods etc. *Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance. *Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. *Maintains the appearance of the store and coffee bar. *Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

-Taking advantage of supplied handbook/materials and Pistachio-management-run orientations and trainings. *Enhances coffee shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $13.00 - $19.00/hour.
