Falcon Campus Store Associate (PT) - Albertus Magnus College (New Haven)

 

Full Job Description:

The Falcon Campus Store Associate assists with all day-to-day operations of the campus store: provide customer service to students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders, maintain stock, organize store and sell merchandise. This is a part-time position up to 25 hours per week.

Essential Functions

• Greet customers.
• Respond to questions.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Operate cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of retail experience.

Knowledge | Skills | Abilities

• Skill in use of computers, windows based operating environment.
• Ability to maintain record keeping systems and procedures.
• Good organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to receive stock.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Special Work Schedule Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., carry, bend, reach and stretch. Weekend and some evening hours required.
