- Reports to: Banquet Manager - Status: Non-Exempt - Hours: Part-Time
*Job Summary:
Being an ambassador for our brand by playing a key role in contributing to the smooth operation of the banquet event by providing a clean and safe banquet experience by proper set-up and breakdown of the event. Clearing, sanitizing setting tables and ensuring that the event is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins, and cups of water glasses.
*Functions and Competencies:
- Prepares dining room for banquet guests by unpacking, setting up ie. setting tables, decorations, service plates, and utensils.
- Protects banquet guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
- Maintains table settings by removing courses as completed, refilling water glasses, and being attentive to guest’s additional needs.
- Clear tables of used dishware and napkins
- Assist servers with food delivery
- Clear tables after meals, and return dishes to the kitchen
- Keep designated service stations clean and well stocked
- Supports waitstaff by setting up and replenishing condiment stands and busser stations
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware available for the event.
- Keep dining area clean and presentable
- Close event by packing and breaking down the event, cleaning chairs, tables, sweeping and vacuuming floors, and removing trash from the facility
- Additional requests as needed for the smooth operation of the shift
*Education and Training:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Banquet experience preferred
· Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
· Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
*Salary: $15.00 to 20.00 hour based on experience
*Job Type: Part-time
*Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
