Full job description

Material Handler is responsible for processing raw material and finished goods.

Responsibilities and duties

• Maintain neat, clean and safe warehouse areas.
• Pick material out of inventory to fill orders
• Stock, maintain and organize all finished goods and raw material using FIFO.
• Manage Bin Release and Re-order card systems.
• Preform accurate cycle counts daily.
• Certified, Licensed Fork-lift and Lift-A-Loft operator
• Process incoming shipments using MRP/ ERP System
• Receive incoming product in a timely manner as specified and in good condition.
• Incoming inspection of raw material and other goods.
• Perform other quality steps.
• other duties as needed.

Qualifications and skills, Certifications and Education Requirements

Required qualifications and skills

• Accurate, detail oriented and able to follow specific directions
• Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Use common sense and communicate effectively.
• Read and understand written documents.

Preferred Skills -

• Forklift certification
• 3-5 years of previous shipping or receiving in a manufacturing of component parts environment.
• Previous experience utilizing Bar Coded Materials and Inventory Scanning Devices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
