Linen Attendant (PT) - Yale New Haven Hospital; Unitex (New Haven)

Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a highly skilled Linen Attendant for our facility at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Pickup soiled curtains from various locations in the hospital
• Pickup soiled linen from various locations in the hospital
• Count and record soiled cubicle curtains being sent out for processing
• Coordinate mops and curtains
• Pack carts with clean cubicle curtains
• Enter data into computer/hand held device
• Inventory curtain room daily. Provide inventory to on site managers
• Establish and maintain positive working relationship with hospital staff
• Work with hospital staff to resolve quality and quantity issues
• Keep Curtin room neat and clean
• Answer calls from other units
• Change curtains on schedule provided by on site manager
• Pick up and deliver clean and soiled curtains
• Hang and take down clean and soiled curtains

This is an entry level position. No experience is required.
