Job Description:

The Steward / Dishwasher supports the cleanliness needs of the food & beverage team. Including outlets & kitchens.

 

Responsibilities:

Prepare for functions & restaurant operations on shift.

• Ensure china, glass, cutlery & kitchen utensils / cookware are cean, organised & stored in accordance with hotel policy.

- Ensure all items are sanitized

- Set up & Breakdown Stations, restaurant & bar.

- Clean kitchens & vacuum outlets

• Assist with Plate up.
• After function breakdown.
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the back-of-the-house in accordance with the Department of Health.

Qualifications:

- 1 year of dishwashing experience in a high volume setting.

- Janitorial or maintenance experienc in similar setting will be considered.

- Current TIPS & Servsafe certifications.
