Principle duties and Responsibilities include:

• Work with the Housekeeping Director to complete move-in cleans of individual apartments.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
• Clean, wash, sanitize and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Removed watermarks from fixtures.
• Clean windows/mirrors in recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways.
• Clean floors, to include vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting.
• Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Clean hallways, stairways, and elevators.
• Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
• Maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas.
• Discard infectious wastes into appropriate containers.
• Utilize safe practices when performing all tasks.
• Notify the Housekeeping Director of any problems in resident apartments.
• Notify the Housekeeping Director, Executive Director, or Manager on Duty of any resident incidents or safety concerns.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year experience commercial floor care
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to act as night security
• Excellent work ethic and safe work habits
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized and self-motivated
• Interested in learning and growing you skill set
