CAFÉ CREW MEMBER
(part-time opportunities available beginning Mar. 26. Cafe opens Apr. 1.)

At green well, our goal is to provide a happy and comfortable gathering place for New Haven residents, students, artists, musicians and anyone who wants a community-minded spot to hang out and enjoy life with a great cup of tea or coffee. Green well Organic Tea & Coffee provides the highest quality organic and fairly traded tea and coffee, as well as whole, organic fruit juices, trail mixes, baked goods and a variety of other great tasting snacks.

The Café Crew Member is an integral role at green well, carrying out our mission to fulfill and enrich the lives of everyone in the community. We don't have "customers," we have "friends," and it is important that all Café Crew Members share this belief.

Responsibilities of the Café Crew Member include:
• Greet all friends of green well, promptly and happily providing them the food and beverage they request.
• Brew coffee and tea on both large scale and single servings.
• Create specialty drinks including lattes, cappuccinos, espressos and more.
• Prepare and serve all items on the café menu for both to-go and sit-down customers.
• Assist friends with specialty trail mix and tea selection, providing recommendations.
• Opening and closing duties (if working applicable shift) such as set-up, cleaning and baking prep.
• Aid visiting artists, musicians and guests with their needs during set-up, break-down and during performance.
• Bring local delivery items to businesses and households within the nine block radius. (Does not apply to all Crew Members.)

Qualifications:
• Over 18 years of age.
• Has availability to fully commit to regular part-time schedule.
• Previous coffee, tea or bakery experience preferred.
• Proven reliable work history required.
• Ability to complete in-person interview.
• Available for employee training week, Mar. 26-30.

Compensation:
Café Crew Members are compensated an hourly rate plus tips.
