We currently have over 3,000 customers consisting of schools, bakeries, restaurants, caterers, hospitals, government agencies and convalescent homes. Responsibilities:
- Selecting and handling product and palletizing it neatly on pallets
- Identifies items for selection and ensures that once the order is complete and accurate using voice picking system
- Operate an electric, riding pallet jack and efficiently to transport product
- Maintaining safety and productivity benchmarks is a minimum requirement of the job
- Maintain work space and equipment in an organized and neat fashion
- Regular, timely attendance as defined by the attendance policy, is a minimum requirement of the job
- Other tasks as assigned
Required Skills
- Previous experience operating a forklift and other warehouse technical equipment preferred
- Ability to meet deadlines and case-per-hour requirements
- Ability to listen, understand and respond to instruction
- Operate within Standard Operating Procedure and follow OSHA guidelines
- High level of accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Warehouse Order selection experience preferred
- Voice picking experience preferred
