Full Job Description

Warehouse Receiver

Work Environment: Work will primarily be performed in a warehouse environment, though may have minimal contact with the retail floor, as well as coolers and departments with exposed raw foods.

Requirements :

• Ability to lift 50 pounds safely.
• Attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
• Basic math skills.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to handle multiple demands and work under pressure.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be flexible and to adapt to changing conditions quickly.
• Willingness to be open to learn and take on new responsibilities.
• Excellent attendance.

Responsibilities:

• Store Operations
• Maintain an orderly flow of product moving through the warehouse, ensuring accurate an efficient product deliveries.
• Communicate with department representatives regarding inventory and incoming shipments.
• Prepare the receiving dock for incoming orders and maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
• Verify product with purchase orders.
• Track, sort, and distribute shipments as needed.
• Manage the inventory of shipping supplies and materials.
• Safety
• Ensure that department shelves, work areas and storage areas are in clean and orderly condition.
• Be in compliance with safety practices and procedures, both throughout the store and within the department.
• Remain up to date on all certifications required for power equipment.
• Other
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Store Operations Manager.
