Full Job Description

Alpha Logistics, llc, Amazon Delivery Service partner, is looking for (Seasonal/Temporary, Full-time and Part-Time) delivery driver positions in Orange, CT. Ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, engaged and detail-oriented, with a desire to work in a customer driven team environment delivering the last mile delivery of Amazon packages. As a delivery associate, you will deliver packages to residential and commercial locations.

• $20.50/hour starting rate
• Up to $200 bonus after 90 days for those who qualify

Shifts available 7 days per week. One Weekend day availability is mandatory!

Delivery Associate Daily Duties:

• Perform a Pre-trip vehicle inspection

• Able to get in and out of van and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift

• Must be physically able to handle fast-paced walking, lifting, bending and stooping

• Help another drivers as directed

• Return van to the distribution center, refueling it, remove all trash

• Post-trip vehicle inspection, return company equipment (scanner device, gas card and keys)

• Return all undelivered packages to the manager

• Complete logs and reports

• Must follow all traffic laws and safety precautions, while operating a company cargo van

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum Age Requirement of 21 (with at least 1 years of licensed driving experience)

• Eligible to work in the U.S.

• Ability to move and lift packages of up to 50 pounds.

• Punctuality and reliability are critical.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. We operate 7 days a week 360 days a year. We work in all weather conditions.

• Must be comfortable driving a cargo van.

• Valid driver’s license Required.

• Ability to Operate GPS & Smartphone applications.

• No major at-fault collisions within the previous 7 years.

Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) provide contracted delivery services to Amazon and are independent employers.
