Location: Hamden, Connecticut

Type: Full-Time + OVERTIME

Overview

JFD Tube & Coil Products, Inc is a custom manufacturer of shell & tube heat exchangers for HVAC, oil & refinery, chemical, and pulp & paper industries. The successful candidate will be assembling and testing metallic assemblies in accordance with blueprints / sketches as well as other general labor duties.

Responsibilities:

1. Cut components from stock materials for sub-assemblies

2. Assemble & test metallic components & assemblies in accordance with a drawing

3. Operate handheld tools and other equipment on a daily basis

4. Keep work area neat, clean, and organized

5. Assist and help train other assemblers as needed

Skills & Requirements:

• Ability to Read Tape Measure to 1/16’’ Inch
• Ability to sit or stand for 8 hours
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to communicate and be trained effectively in English OR Spanish
• Excellent attitude and attendance a must
• Team player

Education & Experience:

1. High School Diploma or GED required

2. Experience in assembling and/or working on production line is desirable

3. Must be able to read and understand a drawings in English

Salary & Benefits:

Hourly wage $18+ DOE. Benefits include (after probationary period) paid vacation & paid holidays, Cash Bonus, 401(k) with employer match, profit sharing, medical, dental, life insurance.
