This job requires work under supervision of team lead or Planning & Production Supervisor. Work is primarily done independently, with minimal team interaction. Performs such operations as soldering, winding, adjusting, and gluing. Reads and interprets instructions, assembles parts and tools, and fits electronic components together. Inspects wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits. Assembles electrical or electronic systems or support structures and installs components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment. Tests functional performance to ensure wiring and assemblies are operational. Requires a high degree of eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity. Normally, work is repetitive. Performs work under supervision of team lead or supervisor.
Responsibilities
· Soldering, Inspects wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits
· Blueprint and Work Order reading
· Become familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement as it is practiced within the organization;
· Participate in weekly team meetings, contributing and implementing continuous improvement ideas;
· Participate in 5S activities, keeping team’s assigned work cells and other assigned areas neat and clean;
· Continue learning and growing while contributing to the organization’s success, and seeking out opportunities to improve oneself and team members;
