CALLING ALL AVAILABLE EXPERIENCE SECURITY GUARDS:

CENTURY PROTECTIVE SERVICES IS HAVING A HIRING EVENT TO FILL OPEN SECURITY GUARD POSITIONS FOR THIS COMING FALL 2023 SCHOOL TERM AT THE WEST HAVEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS & HIGH SCHOOL.

THE HIRING EVENT WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, JULY 7, 2023, FROM 10AM - 2PM AT THE WEST HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL.

PLEASE PARK AND USE THE MAIN ENTRANCE. UPON ARRIVAL TELL THE SECURITY OFFICER THAT YOU ARE THERE FOR AN INTERVIEW

You MUST meet the following criteria to be considered:

1. Must have a current Connecticut State Guard Card.

2. Security Experience within a school system preferred

3. Must have more then 3 years of security experience

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Ideal candidate has excellent presentation and communication skills and provides outstanding customer service.

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on premises
• Remove trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Investigate suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms and report to authorities
• Provide assistance to people in needs
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Job Types: Full-time,

On-Call Per Diem Hours available

Salary: ACTUAL RATE IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
