Full job description

This is a great opportunity for you to join one of our G Café Bakery Tweed that serves freshly baked goods, made by our own bakery daily, with all natural ingredients! The Café Assistant Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the café. The Café Assistant Manager works side by side with the manager and trains, manages, and oversees the café staff to ensure customers receive the highest level of customer service possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-Manages and motivates the café team
• Assist Manager in training new employees and providing ongoing training for all café staff
• Coordinates the café schedule, covering different shifts if necessary
• Assist the Manager in implementing café policies and procedures
• Maintains inventory
• Responsible for keeping café area clean, neat and orderly
• Support Manager in ordering any supplies needed for the café
• Must be highly motivated and with good organizational skills
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a driver's license. Good communication, management and leadership skills. An understanding of food and beverage operations and/or the hospitability industry is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
