Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections on in-process assemblies and finished goods to ensure compliance with customer specifications and QTL quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical understanding of electronic assemblies, and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality products in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections on components, assemblies, and finished products.
  • Carry out in-process and final inspections of products to ensure compliance with QTL specifications and customer requirements.
  • Identify and document non-conformances, support corrective action processes, and communicate findings with engineering and production teams.
  • Track and document scrap, ensuring rejected materials are logged and dispositioned properly.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support process improvements by providing feedback on product quality, assembly practices, and material performance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Preferred:

  • Experience with electronic or lighting assemblies (PCBs, SMT components, power supplies, LEDs).
  • Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, microscopes, or optical comparators.
  • Knowledge of electrical/functional testing methods (multimeters, load testers, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001, SPC, or similar standards).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting.

  • Adherence to ESD safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
