Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections on in-process assemblies and finished goods to ensure compliance with customer specifications and QTL quality standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical understanding of electronic assemblies, and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality products in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections on components, assemblies, and finished products.
 - Carry out in-process and final inspections of products to ensure compliance with QTL specifications and customer requirements.
 - Identify and document non-conformances, support corrective action processes, and communicate findings with engineering and production teams.
 - Track and document scrap, ensuring rejected materials are logged and dispositioned properly.
 - Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
 - Support process improvements by providing feedback on product quality, assembly practices, and material performance.
 
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
 - Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role (manufacturing environment preferred).
 - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within cross-functional teams.
 - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
 
Preferred:
- Experience with electronic or lighting assemblies (PCBs, SMT components, power supplies, LEDs).
 - Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, microscopes, or optical comparators.
 - Knowledge of electrical/functional testing methods (multimeters, load testers, etc.).
 - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
 - Understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001, SPC, or similar standards).
 - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.50 per hour
