Customer Connect Specialist (FT/PT) (Remote) - The Family Security Plan (Orange)

Full Job Description;

- JOB PURPOSE:

The Customer Connect Specialist is a lead generating position for various sales channels. This position involves contacting active and non-active credit union members for review and/or updates of their insurance policies. This position requires extensive research on existing member lists and proper documentation.

- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make 171+ outbound calls a day to members and meet daily benchmark of 12+ transferred calls per day.
  • Review insurance coverage and update contact information.
  • Interpret and research information in database.
  • Receive inbound calls professionally and triage to appropriate sales channel.

- WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job may operate in a professional office environment or from a secure home environment if approved by management and the Work at Home Committee. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

- MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate diploma required.

- PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Some college preferred.

*REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, computer, telephone and email skills
  • Ability to multi-task various campaigns.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible.
  • Skilled in working in a high-pressure team-environment.
  • Database experience preferred.
  • Ability to train on CRM system.
  • Exhibit interpersonal savvy with customers.
  • Ability to navigate computer and phone system efficiently and effectively while simultaneously addressing the needs and concerns of the member.
  • Self-Motivated and drive for results.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
