This is a great opportunity for you to join one of our European style Café that serves freshly baked goods, made by our own bakery daily, with all natural ingredients! We are a local bakery café looking for experienced Baristas to be our ambassador and represent our great company by greeting our customers, preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, pastries, breakfast and lunch items for our locations.
Barista responsibilities include greeting customers, educating customers on our menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, taking orders and using our POS system. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and a knowledge of coffee.
Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent experience for our guests while representing our brand in a new and exciting setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter
- Answer any questions about our menu
- Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
- Serve beverages and other food items, like pastries, sandwiches, salads.
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean and maintain stock
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to management
