Full job description
- Opportunity House, Inc. is an agency that provides residential and Day Program services to adults on the autism spectrum for over 43 years.
- Saturday & Sunday hours-7-3 and 3-11 with a shift differnetial
- Primary responsibilities include: supporting adults on the spectrum in ADL, and recreational activities.
- Adhere to the steps of written guidelines, programs and Behavior Support Plans.
- Collect and record reliable data as required for all individual programs.
- Administer medications per physician’s orders.
- Attend in-service trainings sessions according to DDS regulations.
Qualifications:
- A minimum high school diploma however, an Associate Degree or higher is preferrable.
- Valid Connecticut driver’s license is required
- Department of Developmental Services Medication Administration Certification is preferred.
- Current PMT, CPR and First Aid certification required.
- At least three years of experience working with or caring for individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
