Retail Office Representative (FT) - Jordan's Furniture (New Haven)

Full Job Description:

Pay: $16-$17

Schedule:
            -   MON/TUES/WED/THURS/FRI/SAT/SUN

Week 1: OFF/OFF/10a-7p/10a-7p/9:30a-8p/9:30a-8p/OFF

Week 2: 9:30a-5p/9:30a-5p/OFF/OFF/10a-7p/10a-7p/10:30a-6p

Week 3: 11a-7p/11a-7p/OFF/930a-6p/9:30a-6p/OFF/10:30a-6p

Customer Support Representatives work with our customers in person and over the phone to assist with their purchase, resolve order issues, and other administrative duties. There is so much variety in this position that no two days are the same!
 
Responsibilities include:
  • Interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner, creating raving fans!
  • Assisting sales consultants with finalizing sales orders including payment transactions, delivery set up, etc.
  • Triaging incoming phone calls
  • Contacting customers to resolve delivery and service issues. Interacting with various departments to assist in resolving any issues
  • Reconciling cash drawer at the end of a shift
Requirements include:
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs
  • Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Excellent mathematical and organizational skills
  • Must be able to read and communicate effectively
  • 1-2 years of retail experience preferred but not required
