- Warehouse Associate / Loader / Unloader Job Description

*We are looking for a capable Warehouse Associate/ Loader / Unloader to support and participate in our company’s warehouse operations. You will receive, sort, load and unload products from freight containers. To load and unload the products results in repeated bending, stretching, twisting and lifting as well as standing for 3 to 7 hours a day. Daily accuracy of products loaded and unloaded is necessary for inventory control and accountability.

*To be successful as a Warehouse Associate, candidates should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of warehouse tasks and work diligently under pressure. Most importantly, Warehouse Associates must be able to work independently and as a team member; having the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and successfully complete tasks expeditiously within a high energy environment.

*The position is full-time and entry level, working hours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm., Monday through Friday. The starting rate will range between $14.00 per hour and increases will be negotiable after a 90 day period.

Warehouse Associate – Loader / Unloader Responsibilities Include:

  • To load and unload the products from shipping containers for 3 to 7 hours a day.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of office equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Ability to work with employees from all departments in the business
  • High School degree
