America's first hospice, The Connecticut Hospice, Inc., is a 503 (c) not for profit organization, accredited and certified by The Joint Commission (TJC) as the first palliative hospital in the US., and has an immediate opening available in their Food Services Department for a part-time food service worker/cook.
The Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation of foods to meet the menu needs for patients, cafeteria customers, and special functions using established procedures. Expected to demonstrate basic knowledge of safe food handling, nutrition, therapeutic diets and textured modifications. Ability to learn and follow established food safety and sanitation procedures.
