This position includes stocking and arranging the product displays, including grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery, in home improvement centers of Lowe’s, Home Depot’s and WalMart stores.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

Down stocking and maintaining set integrity for Central Garden grass seed, chemicals, bird feed, fertilizer and clay pottery

Set and maintain the shelves according to retailer mandated planograms/modulars

Install and maintain off-shelf display opportunities for Central Garden products

Weekend consumer interaction during peak season (training provided)

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

Previous merchandising experience preferred

Strong communication skills needed to interact with store management and consumers

Strong reading skills needed to understand packaging labels and re-tagging projects

Must be able to bend, pull and lift 50 lbs. consistently throughout the course of a work day

Must be able to climb ladders, use a pallet jack and hand powered tools

Must have a valid driver’s license in the state in which you reside, a good driving record, reliable transportation and proof of current personal car insurance

Must have daily access to internet/email

Must have personal Smartphone with a current operating system: Android 9.0 or above, or Apple IOS 14.0 and above for daily communications with supervisor

Responsible, reliable and dependable work habits.

Overview

The hourly wage range for this position is $13.00 to $19.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
Additional compensation in the form premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Expanding Telecommunications Company Specializing in Fiber Optics is seeking a Laborer. *NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED*

CAVCOMM, LLC is a full service telecommunications cable installation company specializing in Fiber Optics. With over 30 years of combined experience capable of installation, termination, and testing fiber optic, copper and coaxial cables for both ISP and OSP applications.

Hours: Full-time. Standard hours Monday-Friday

Responsibilities: The Laborer is an entry level position that will provide the right person with the opportunity to learn the many different aspects of the business that includes on the job training for Fiber Telecommunications Lineman and Splicer work.

Essential Functions

  • Assist Field Techs / Warehouse Manager to learn various aspects of work processes
  • Accurately read and interpret engineering and network plan designs in preparation for each job
  • Responsible for complying with all safety standards
  • Responsible for upkeep and maintaining company vehicle, inventory and small tools

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Must possess strong problem solving, decision making, analytical skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow written procedures.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license. Must have a responsible driving record
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Some overnight travel required
