Care Associate - MedRite Urgent Care (North Haven)

The demands put on us by work obligations, family responsibilities, and hectic schedules can make it difficult to seek medical services within the nine-to-five doctor’s office model. About the job: If you’re looking to enter the healthcare field having little or no experience, this could the right fit for you. Our employees deliver impeccable customer service and treat all patients as if they are family. Care Associates are responsible for collecting patient samples via swabbing (Training is provided). Finally, this role can evolve into a Medical Assistant position, which MedRite will contribute to the certification of those that qualify.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Covid testing team by collecting patient test samples (training provided)
  • Help facilitate patient registration
  • Monitor and coordinate patient queue
  • Help ensure a positive patient experience
  • Assist with keeping room supplies stocked and items neatly stored
  • Provide compassionate care to our patients
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bi/Lingual, English/Spanish a plus.
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Display a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
