Full Job Description:
Physician office laboratory looking to hire 1 or 2 part-time employees to perform urine drug screen testing on a clinical chemistry analyzer.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Enter patient orders into the information system and process samples for testing
- Perform instrument maintenance
- Run calibration and quality control
- Evaluate Quality control acceptability and takes corrective action when necessary
- Follows CLIA Regulatory compliance
- Assists lab supv in quality assurance activities
- Documents and records work according to policies and procedures
Applicant should have good computer and organization skills. Minimum requirements: High school diploma, A.S or B.S. in science. MLT or MT. Prefer candidates with clinical lab knowledge and experience. Compensation based on experience.
This position is part-time with flexible work hours. Example work hours: Monday, Wed, Friday, day or evening hours.
