Production Associate (FT) - Orange Research, Inc. (Milford)

 

Full Job Description:

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor/Planner, perform diversified duties in support of the team and the overall Department.

· Learn and master all manufacturing operations within team’s assigned work cells, with the goal of achieving full cross training within team’s assigned work cells;

Incumbents will possess or have the ability to be trained in:

· Assembly

· Calibration

· Dial Machine Operation

· Final Prep

· Blueprint and Work Order reading

· General Knowledge of Production Work and Organization

· Maintain skills attained, by rotating throughout Team’s assigned Work Cells;

· Become familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement as it is practiced within the organization;

· Perform other duties as required or as assigned.

General Work Responsibilities:

· Participate in weekly team meetings, contributing and implementing continuous improvement ideas;

· Participate in 5S activities, keeping team’s assigned work cells and other assigned areas neat and clean;

· Continue learning and growing while contributing to the organization’s success, and seeking out opportunities to improve oneself and team members;

· Adhere to all Safety Regulations and rules & comply with all Company rules and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule: 8 hour shift

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
