We are a small frozen food manufacturing facility located in West Haven. We supply local markets with our high quality frozen pizza. We are a growing business that needs exceptional individuals who like being part of a team in a family environment. See below for details.

Schedule M-F some Saturdays 7am-2/230pm

Starting Pay $12.00/hour while training. $14.00/hour once trained

Packaging Team Members are directly involved in making sure every product that leaves Zuppardi’s Frozen Foods is of the highest quality and packaged correctly.

As one of these important team members, your day will include:

• You will be working with 2-3 individuals
• Monitoring pizza traveling through the production process
• Packaging finished goods into boxes
• Checking, verifying, packing and moving product
• Inspecting finished product and assuring quality
• Take stock of all packaging goods and informing facility manager in a timely manner
• Taking pride in contributing to the overall cleanliness and efficient operation of your facility
• Supporting your team as needed What you bring to the table:
• Attendance – This is and all positions require the team member be reliable on a constant basis.
• Food Manufacturing Experience – not required, willing to train. Gain speed in production packing from training goals to standard production packing goals.
• Safety Mindset – Create a safety and health workplace; make Safety a priority.
• Language Skills – Must be able to read, understand and effectively communicate to team members in immediate area.

• Troubleshooting Skills – Must have ability to work through problems and address issues.
• Attention to Detail – Must be able to follow standard work instructions.

Physical Demands

The team member is frequently required to stand and climb, and reach with hands and arms

• The employee must regularly lift or move up to 45 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds, intermittently team lift 65lbs, walk up and down steps frequently.
• Team Members must be able to be on their feet for eight (6-8) hours, to keep up with a fast, repetitious pace and do repetitious lifting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
