Full Job Description:

Front Desk Security (Part-Time/Apartment Complex)

Position: Front Desk

Shift: Part-Time weekends 4pm-12:30am and potential weekday work to cover shortages

FLSA: Non-exempt

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Reports to the Property Manager

A. Responsible for monitoring the entire facility via routine security checks and video
camera to ensure the safety of the residents and guests.
B. Greets residents and visitors to ensure they sign in and out via the log book
C. Provides directions to visitors and guests on locations of offices.
D. Accepts delivery of resident packages from various carriers.
E. Maintains package delivery log book for sign in and sign out of packages
F. Monitors security system and fire alarm panel
G. Monitors all parking lots, including parking garage to ensure compliance with
published policies.
H. Calls for towing of unauthorized vehicles
I. Locks down elevators for move ins and move-outs
J. Calls service vendors for the entry doors, elevators, laundry machines, etc.
K. Cleans glass doors once per shift.
L. Cleans glass mirror once per shift
M. Sweeps Main Lobby Floors as needed to maintain a clean appearance.
N. Cleans front desk Formica and granite as needed to maintain a clean appearance.
O. Cleans mailroom counter and trash as needed to maintain a clean appearance.
P. Sweeps behind front desk and under desk to maintain a clean appearance.
Q. Vacuums carpets in lobby and elevators as needed to maintain a clean appearance
R. Assists with Co-op mailings when necessary.
S. Follows procedures as developed by the Property Manager, which may change from
time-to-time.
T. Reports work order requests to the CBE.
U. Monitors Parking Garage to ensure safety of users.
V. Calls for service for gate openers and snow removal


II. RELATIONSHIPS:

A. Reports to Property Manager.
B. Maintains relationships with other staff members, residents and visitors.
C. Maintains positive working relationships with all building residents, co-workers and vendors.

III. EMERGENCY:

A. Knows emergency telephone number for police, fire department, ambulance and
related first responders.
B. Follows all company emergency procedures.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
