Full Job Description:

Meat Room Worker:

Shift: - 10am - 6:30pm* (Until The Job Is Done)

Pay: - $14.50 p/h

Work Week: - Monday Through Fridays

Position summary:

• This position entails wrapping, packaging and stocking of meat product as well as cleaning and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Power Pallet Jacks, Box Cutters, Grinders, Wrapping Machines, Cry – O – Vac, Cherry Pickers and other equipment in safe manner.
• Maintain communication with coworkers and supervisors.
• Report to work on time as scheduled.
• Pay attention to detail. Follow directions precisely.
• Utilize proper safety equipment
• Utilize Lockout/Tagout procedure.
• Select product for special orders.
• Keep Meat Room and equipment clean and organized. Stack pallets properly.
• Sweeping, dusting and/or mopping as needed.
• Maintain Food Safety standards regarding cleanliness and hygiene both facility and personal.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in refrigerated warehouse or other food/beverage warehouse.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to understand and follow direction exactly.
• Experience utilizing Windows based operating systems preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Dependable, reliable and trustworthy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 per hour
