Maintenance Technician-Navarino Property Management-New Haven

 

Navarino Property Management is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join our growing company and work at our properties located in New Haven, CT.

Responsibilities:

The Full-Time Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing maintenance requests by diagnosing problems and making repairs and ensuring that service requests and repairs are made in a timely manner. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for the turn process for vacant apartment homes (such as painting, cleaning, maintenance work, etc. within the apartment home). There is also an on-call requirement to the job that will include a rotation and will include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have the following experience:

  • 2-3 years apartment maintenance or related field.
  • Basic appliance repair.
  • HVAC - only as allowed by law without EPA certification.
  • Basic plumbing.
  • Basic electrical (when no license is required).
  • General carpentry.
  • Painting including use of paint sprayer.
  • Experienced in the use of basic cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Basic painting

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
