Part-Time Shuttle Driver in Derby, CT Needed!

APEX International Education Partners is seeking a safe, reliable, flexible Part-Time Shuttle Driver for our international high school student dormitory located in Derby, Connecticut.

P/T Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30AM-9:30AM, with On-Call availability needed from Monday-Friday, 3:30PM – 6PM.

This Part-Time Shuttle Driver will be responsible for transporting dormitory students to various schools in the mornings, Mondays-Fridays during the academic year. This Shuttle Driver will need to be flexible and available for on-call hours Mondays-Fridays in the afternoons. Schools are located in various parts of Connecticut including Waterbury, Fairfield, and West Hartford, Danbury and Hamden. Valid Driver’s License required with 3+ years’ driving experience and clean driving record. Ability to drive 15-passager vans. NO CDL required.

Qualifications

Must be reliable, dependable, and flexible. On-time attendance is required.

Available to work part-time, Mondays-Fridays, early mornings 6:30AM-9:30AM with availability to work on-call hours in the afternoons 3:30PM-6PM during the academic year.

Flexibility to work additional hours, when needed, including weekends.

CT State Driver’s License with at least 3 years of driving experience and a clean driving record required. Cars and 15-passenger Vans utilized. (No CDL required.)

Prior professional driving experience and/or experience driving children and/or shuttling passengers a plus. Willing and able to drive in all weather conditions.

Reliable transportation to/from home and work required. Candidates who live in close proximity to Derby, CT/dormitory preferred.

Willing and able to perform daily safety checks on vehicles.

Willing and able to help students move in/out of dorm, able to lift 30+lbs, when needed.

Job Type: Part-time Pay Rate: $18/hour

Location: Based out of Derby, CT with routes located throughout Connecticut.
