Full Job Description:
We are looking for a person who loves working with children and who is reliable and energetic. Applicant should possess qualities needed to care and relate to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Applicant should be physically able to lift children for diapering and other needs. In addition, candidate will assist head teacher with all classroom activities and with caring for all needs of the children.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- diapering, potty training and/or toileting when needed
- feeding infants and assisting toddlers with feeding themselves
- engaging the children in various activities throughout the day
- assisting with art projects when needed
- daily/regular cleaning and disinfecting of the classroom and toys
In addition, all staff members must be fingerprinted.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
COVID-19 considerations:
All
staff (for now) must still wear a mask. The children ages 3 and above
wear masks. Regular sanitizing, disinfecting and cleaning procedures are
in place.
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: One location
