IKEA New Haven is looking for a Food Cashier to join their team! This is a permanent position for our 8am-9:30pm shift. This position is 12-19 hours/week and weekend availability is required.
*This position pays $16/hour
- Daily Responsibilities include:
- Providing a friendly retail checkout experience by processing payments quickly and accurately.
- Following food handling, health, safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations and guidelines.
- Maintaining the restaurant including merchandising and price communication.
- Ensuring a positive customer experience by maintaining a clean and safe area.
- Using your IKEA Food knowledge to exceed customer expectations, confidently answering their questions so they can make informed purchase decisions. Providing a friendly retail checkout experience by processing payments quickly and accurately.
Preferred Experience: Previous Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
